Hanson Engineering, L.C. was organized in 1995. We are located near Liberal, Kansas, and are the premier Non-Profit Utility Operator in Southwest and South-Central Kansas. We design, supervise construction of and operate 16 Non-Profit Irrigation Gas utilities, irrigation gas distribution systems, renewable natural gas lines and cattle feedyard fuel gas lines. We sell new and rebuilt rotary gas meters and pressure/temperature correctors with cellular modems, as well as associated piping, regulators and equipment; we build and sell standard or custom made pipe rail fences for meter and regulator station enclosures. We do contract leak location service, utilizing our RMLD (Remote Methane Laser Detector) equipment which can locate a natural gas leak as far as 150’ away, as well as selling the RMLD equipment. We are the only U.S. distributors for the Hanson line of rotary gas meters and the Hanson Pressure/Temperature Correctors with cellular modems, which are the most economic high-accuracy meters with cellular data capabilities. These meters and P/T Correctors/Modems utilize electronic pressure and temperature correction, and can transmit data via most cellular data systems to our online database.
